Steve Woods

Steve Woods joined Inovia as as Partner and CTO in 2021. Prior to joining Google, Steven built several companies in software services and infrastructure, including Quack.com - the world's first interactive voice assistant, which American/Online Time Warner acquired in 2000. Since 2008, as Canada Engineering and Waterloo Site Lead, Steven applied his entrepreneurial talents to Google's engineering and team-building efforts, growing the Google Canada technical team from 20 to over 1,300.

In his role at Inovia, Steven offers his years of entrepreneurial and engineering experience, and his extensive network, to our portfolio companies. He also plays an important role in evaluating deal flow from a technology and talent perspective.
