Patti Arand

Patti Arand is an experienced researcher and leader in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Research at Viscardia since July 2016 and at Inovise Medical, Inc. since May 2000. Prior roles include R&D Program Manager of New Product Development at Philips from 1996 to 2000 and R&D Project Manager of Algorithms Group at Hewlett-Packard Cardiology Products Division from 1989 to 1996. Patti also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1986 to 1989. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Clinical Engineering from Northwestern University, along with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution.
