Matthew Clarkson, PhD

Matthew Clarkson, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew is currently serving as the Head of Carbon at InPlanet. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2023, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich. Before that, they held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Otago from 2014 to 2016. In 2011, Matthew worked as a Field Studies Tutor at Discover Ltd.

Matthew Clarkson, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science at Durham University from 2005 to 2008. Matthew then pursued their Master of Science in Quaternary Science at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2009 to 2010. Matthew then furthered their education by completing their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geology/Earth Science at The University of Edinburgh from 2010 to 2014.
