Philipp Swoboda started their work experience as a Junior Researcher at Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung in July 2017 and worked until December 2020. Philipp then became a Scientific Assistant at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in January 2021 and worked until December 2021. Currently, they are working as a Research Lead at Inplanet starting from March 2022.
Philipp Swoboda began their education in 2008 at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental System Sciences. Philipp completed this degree in 2013.
Swoboda then furthered their studies at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, obtaining a Master's degree in Sustainable Development between 2013 and 2016.
In 2014, Swoboda attended Utrecht University, focusing on Global Change & Ecosystems, as well as Climate Systems & Adaptation. Philipp did not complete a degree at this institution.
The following year, in 2015, Swoboda attended Stellenbosch University, where they studied Food Security & Globalized Agriculture, Climate Change & System Thinking, and Complexity Theory. The completion status of the degree at this university is unknown.
Most recently, Swoboda pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biogeochemistry at The University of Bonn from 2017 to 2022.
