Subhalakshmi (Subha) Kumar has worked in the fields of product development, nano manufacturing, project engineering, and research science since 2006. Subhalakshmi (Subha) began their career as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science in 2006. In 2007, they moved on to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and a Graduate Research Assistant in Material Science and Engineering. In 2017, Subha joined Inprentus as a Product Development Lead, Nano Manufacturing Lead, and Project Engineer. As Product Development Lead, they reported to the Chief Executive Officer and managed more than 20 projects in a variety of markets. As Nano Manufacturing Lead, they also reported to the Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for project management solutions, planning and projection of milestones, and risk analysis. As Project Engineer, they reported to the Vice President of Business Development and was responsible for responding to tenders, requests for proposals and information, and multi-year project planning. Subha also held the role of Senior Research Scientist at Inprentus.
Subhalakshmi Kumar's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Anna University, a High School diploma from Kendriya Vidyalaya, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Materials Science and Engineering.
