Lucio Campanelli has extensive experience in product design and management with various companies. Lucio is the founder and CEO of INPULSE, which designs and manufactures digital ID wearable credentials for access control and payment industries. Lucio is currently the Cloud Security UXD Lead at Google, leading the UX for Automatic Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Previously, they have worked in senior product design management roles at Sysdig, VMware, Nimble Storage, and Datawise.io, where they led design teams and developed high-fidelity prototypes for products focused on cloud, storage, container integration, and security. Campanelli is also the founder and director of the Boston Entrepreneurship Center, a social initiative sponsored by INPULSE, which encourages the next generation of internationals to become entrepreneurs. Prior to these roles, they founded StudyStream, an AI knowledge matching system for research networks.
Lucio Campanelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Sapienza Università di Roma, which they received in 2004. In 2008, they also completed a certificate in Cognitive Science from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Lucio then pursued a Master's degree in Information Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, in 2009, Lucio was an audit student in Architecture and Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
