Jakub Kornafel

Jakub Kornafel has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jakub is currently the Head of Delivery at Sidechains at Input Output (IOHK), where they are responsible for delivery strategy, product strategy, and roadmaps. Prior to that, they worked as a Sidechains Program Manager, focused on EVM Sidechains implementation in the Cardano ecosystem.

Before joining IOHK, Jakub served as the Head of Blockchain R&D Department and Technical Program Manager at CloudBest. Jakub also worked as an IT Project Manager at Sunscrapers and Eyedea AS, where they gained experience in Agile project management and front-end development.

In their early career, Jakub co-founded Marpa Studios, where they worked as a Product Manager and was involved in project management, business analysis, and web development. Jakub also worked as a Project Manager at www.window-lomza.pl and co-founded Taxi-Find, where they served as a Co-Founder and Product Manager.

Jakub Kornafel attended Warsaw University of Technology starting in 2013, where they studied Process and Strategic Management. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Instituto Cervantes Varsovia and obtained a Dele Superior degree in Spanish. Jakub also attended The Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree. Currently, Jakub is pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Udemy Alumni, which they started in 2017 and is expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in JavaScript, Python 3, AgilePM, Dele Superior - Spanish Certificate Level C2, and PRINCE2™.
