Day-to-day tasks include, but not limited to the following:
Maintain productivity while insuring a high level of quality and safety in field installations.
Manage the adherence and enforcement of company safety protocol and take responsibility. for onsite hazard awareness with the General Superintendent.
Build and maintain project schedules.
Manage with General Superintendent, providing crew with all necessary tools, equipment, PPE and material to build project.
Coordinate electrical installation with other trades and general contractor/owner representative.
Adapt to and implement a high level of awareness in sensitive work environments. In addition to following customer driven security protocol, change management documentation, and work authorization procedures.
Manage all job-related material needs, necessary to complete project.
Complete projects within determined budget, as established during stop gate process.
Maintain job cost status reports thru monthly WIP process.
Manage projects working closely with General Superintendent and jobsite foremen.
Understand the importance of relentless dedication, when building relationships with our customers.
Assist customer and field personnel with design changes to the original scope of work.
Work with field and General Superintendent to estimate field change order work.
Track and document change order and time/material work
Create Change Order Budgets and track completion of change orders though monthly WIP Process.
Manage the maintenance of up to date as-build drawings and assist CAD department with changes to drawings.
Project Managers are responsible for the approval and maintenance of weekly forms/documentation:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required
5 years successful electrical PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 a plus)
Prior Design/Build Electrical Construction Experience
Prior experience in electrical estimating
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Proficient in estimating means and methods. Proficient in Accubid or similar estimating software is highly preferred
Ability to produce and update a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
Bi-lingual is a huge plus
Applicants must work from the Monterey Park office and have the ability to travel
Working/ Environment/ Physical Demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
