Mitch Lane

Mitch Lane has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mitch started as a Mobile Developer (Intern) at Showcase Software Ltd, where they solely developed the Android Showcase application. Mitch then worked as an ECS Tutor at Victoria University of Wellington, assisting students with computer science learning. Mitch later joined Datacom as a Web Developer before moving to Touchtech Ltd, where they worked as a Software Developer, focusing on full-stack web development using Ruby on Rails and AWS. In this role, they built various apps and websites for different companies. Mitch also freelanced as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, working on projects such as building a scalable ruby API for PlayStation and developing an activity recommendation engine API. At Touchtech Ltd, they became the Lead Developer and Machine Learning Champion, where they led a team and implemented conversational interfaces and learning applications. Mitch also served as the AI Lead & Senior Full Stack Developer at Melon Health and is currently the Head of Data at Inquisitive, where they lead data engineering and analytics, delivers insights, and fosters a data-driven culture. Throughout their career, Mitch has gained experience in data analysis, machine learning, Ruby on Rails development, and web application architecture.

Mitch Lane attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2010 to 2013. Mitch obtained a Bachelor of Engineering(Hons) degree with a specialization in Software Engineering.
