Govind Kp

Govind KP is an Industrial PhD Student at Inria since March 2022, focusing on "Energy-Efficient Data Stream Processing" through collaboration with OVHcloud as part of the "FrugalCloud" initiative. Responsibilities include optimizing the energy consumption of real-time streaming systems like Apache Flink and Kafka. Past experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Université de Rennes I, where instruction covered Services and Cloud Technologies, and a Systems Engineer in Cloud at MathWorks, managing private cloud infrastructure. Govind also has interned at various organizations, contributing to projects involving embedded systems, data architecture, and technical support. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Distributed Systems from Université de Rennes I, and a Master’s in Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram.
