Andrei Barcovschi

Andrei Barcovschi is an Industrial PhD Student at Tobii, focusing on AI R&D in neural speech technologies. Prior experience includes working as a Research Intern at Xperi Inc., contributing to the DTIF-DAVID project, and a part-time Machine Learning Intern specializing in Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision. Andrei has also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Galway, instructing engineering students in programming and circuit design. Previous internships at Ericsson and Xperi Corporation involved software development and hardware design, with education from the University of Galway culminating in a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
