Kirubakaran Ramamoorthy

Kirubakaran Ramamoorthy is a Robotics Engineer with experience in various roles focused on advanced robotics applications. Currently employed at Inria since July 2023, Kirubakaran previously contributed at Med Robots from March to June 2023, where development of a ROS2 C++ module for a multipurpose medical robot, Ultrabot, took place. Kirubakaran conducted research during a Master Thesis at Laboratorio Automazione Industriale, focusing on redundant robots and motion planning in cluttered spaces. Additional experience includes a Robotics Student Internship, programming for perception pipelines and object recognition, and a Science Assistant role at RWTH Aachen University, supporting combustion model optimization. Kirubakaran holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, and has completed additional master's level education at RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
