Ricky Walsh is a PhD candidate at Inria, focusing on accurate and robust automated segmentation of multiple sclerosis lesions in spinal cord MRI since September 2022. Prior experience includes a research internship at Hera-MI and serving as a data analytics consultant at Body&Fit, where data schema for integrated analytics was designed and built. As a BI data analyst at Glanbia from September 2016 to August 2020, Ricky contributed to projects across various departments. Additional roles include volunteer work with the Irish Coastguard, tutoring at University College Cork for the UCC HEAR program, and serving as Finance Officer for the UCC Choral Society. Ricky completed a Master's degree in Data Science from Université de Rennes I and the University of Twente, following a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences from University College Cork.
