Ray Fitzgerald

Ray Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at IBM. In 2018, they co-founded PurpleMind. Ray then joined Apple as a Technical Advisor, providing technical support and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineering Consultant at 42NDSTREET, developing web apps using Django and React JS. In 2020, they had a brief internship at Workday, which was cancelled due to Covid-19. Ray also worked as a Software Engineer at Setlist, where they designed algorithms for intelligent group music-listening. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer and Product Manager at SERVUSS, leading engineering efforts and building an online food ordering platform. Most recently, they worked at Layer as a Software Engineer, where they developed REST APIs, designed test suites, and managed CI/CD pipelines. In 2023, they joined Inscribe as a Software Engineer.

Ray Fitzgerald attended Christians Brothers College Cork, although the start and end years are unknown. Following their time at Christians Brothers College, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at University College Cork from 2017 to 2021. During their undergraduate studies, in 2020, they also attended Stanford University for a brief period to study Machine Learning. Ray obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in June 2020.
