Sankara Subramanian

Sankara Subramanian has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with expertise in product management, business development, and strategic partnerships. Sankara has worked with prominent companies such as Inseego Corp, Askey, Sequans Communications, and Spirent Communications.

At Inseego Corp, Sankara served as the Global Head of Carrier TPM, leading program and product launches with wireless network operators worldwide. Sankara was responsible for strategic accounts that generated a significant portion of the company's revenue.

Prior to that, Sankara worked at Askey as the Product and Business Development Head, where they led program and product launches with top-tier wireless network operators in North America. Sankara played a key role in the successful adoption of the first generation 4G LTE router with Verizon.

During their tenure at Sequans Communications, Sankara held the position of Director of Product Management. Sankara built and managed strategic partnerships with key executives and teams within Verizon, and led carrier program strategy and execution for the Sequans chipset and module portfolio.

Sankara also gained extensive experience at Spirent Communications, where they held various roles including Product Manager, Senior Applications Specialist, and Member of Technical Staff. Sankara successfully led multiple product lines and played a crucial role in achieving significant sales growth for the 4G LTE Data Performance product line. Sankara also led successful customer adoption of Spirent solutions at key companies such as Verizon Wireless, TATA (TTSL), and Sprint PCS.

Sankara Subramanian earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998. Sankara then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in August and September 2021.
