Ed Van Der Ent

Ed Van Der Ent is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and food science sectors, currently serving as the Head of Process Design and Manufacturing at Insempra since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ed held several managerial positions at FrieslandCampina from 2008 to 2023, including Manager of Evaporation, Drying and Powder Handling Technology, and Manager of Process Development in B.G. Ingredients. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in research and development, process engineering, and project management at Campina DMV International and Friesland Coberco Dairy Foods. Ed's academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Wageningen University, complemented by a Ph.D. project focusing on membrane systems.
