Brice Sperandio

Brice Sperandio, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at INSERM and a Team Leader at École Normale Supérieure, focusing on innovative therapeutic strategies to combat infectious diseases through antimicrobial immuno-stimulation. Coordinating the MaxImmun European Project, Brice collaborates with both academic and pharmaceutical partners to identify and develop host-microbe interaction treatments that enhance the expression of antimicrobial peptides while minimizing inflammation. With extensive research experience, including roles at the Institut Pasteur and Washington University, Brice has contributed to significant advancements in understanding genetic and epigenetic regulation of antimicrobial responses. Additionally, Brice serves as an Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor for Springer Nature, shaping discourse in the field of immunology.
