Renier Grobler

Renier Grobler has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Renier is currently the Head of HR & Strategy at InsideData Group since May 2021. Before that, they worked at Absa for a significant portion of their career. Renier held various roles in Absa, including Senior HR Business Partner from June 2016 to April 2021, HR Business Partner from May 2012 to May 2016, junior HR Business Partner from April 2011 to April 2012, and Organisational Design Specialist from November 2009 to April 2011. Renier also had an internship at Absa Financial Services from June 2009 to October 2009 as part of their Masters Degree requirements. Prior to their time at Absa, Renier worked as a Programme Coordinator at Baneth Consulting from January 2007 to June 2008.

Renier Grobler's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Organisational Behaviour from Leiden University, which was achieved between 2008 and 2009. This was followed by a National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, obtained between 2010 and 2011. Prior to this, Renier completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours in Psychology from Stellenbosch University in the years 2006 and 2007. The earliest degree earned by Renier is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Human Life Sciences and Psychology, also from Stellenbosch University, which was received between 2003 and 2005. In addition to these formal qualifications, Renier has obtained certifications in Excel (Excel 202) from Excel Academy in July 2019, and as an ICAgile Certified Professional Agile Talent from The International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) in February 2019.
