Jenny Lin

Jenny Lin is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with a robust background in both theoretical and applied science. Currently serving as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science since September 2020, Jenny developed a Python machine learning model that significantly improved motion-derived blood pressure data analysis for a wearable device company. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the University of California, Berkeley, where Jenny conducted innovative microscopic experiments on immune cell behavior and managed a research team. As a graduate student researcher at the same institution, significant contributions were made in particle tracking and feature extraction, leading to numerous publications. Earlier academic involvement includes a role as a graduate student instructor and undergraduate researcher, focusing on photophysical properties of materials. Jenny holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry and a BA in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and Pomona College, respectively.
