Darren Riskedal

Darren Riskedal serves as a Precision Farming Specialist at Insight FS since May 2016 and co-owns Riskedal Beef, a freezer beef operation specializing in black Angus cattle, since January 2000. Previously, Darren held roles as a University of Illinois Campus Ambassador and Agronomy Information Services Intern at GROWMARK, Inc., where responsibilities included developing materials and programs to address member needs and testing precision farming software. As State President of the Illinois Association FFA from June 2012 to June 2013, Darren advocated for agriculture and agricultural education throughout Illinois, engaging with high school students. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Technical Systems Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an agriculture transfer degree from Joliet Junior College.
