Viola Maxwell-Thompson

Viola Maxwell-Thompson, NACD.DC, is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in organizational management and board governance across various sectors. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Insight Global and NPower, Maxwell-Thompson is dedicated to empowering individuals and launching tech careers. Previous roles include being a member of the Board of Advisors at AboveBoard, an Advisory Board leader for CIO Whisperers, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Women Business Collaborative. Maxwell-Thompson also held significant leadership positions, including President and CEO of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum, where the focus was on increasing representation of Black professionals in technology. Additionally, Maxwell-Thompson spent 16 years as Vice President/Partner at Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young, contributing to strategic problem-solving for Fortune 500 companies. Educational qualifications include a BA in Psychology and Education from Lake Forest College.
