David Benjamin

David Benjamin has extensive work experience in the finance industry. David started their career as a Chartered Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand in 1988, where they worked until 1991. David then joined BBM Investments Ltd as a Portfolio Manager from 1991 to 1994. Following that, they worked as a Convertibles Trader at SG Warburg from 1994 to 1995. In 1996, they joined Man GLG as the Chief Risk Officer and Risk & Performance Technology Project Lead, where they were responsible for all aspects of risk management. David stayed with Man GLG for over two decades until 2017. Currently, they are the Global Head of Investment Risk at Insight Investment, a position they have held since 2017.

David Benjamin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with Physical Electronics from the University of Bath, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. In addition, they hold certifications as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales, and as a Registered Representative from the Financial Services Authority.
