Liang Song

Liang Song has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Liang started their career as a Systems Engineer Intern at Hainan Airlines in 2002. In 2006, they joined Washington University as a Graduate Research Assistant and continued in that role until 2010. In 2008, they interned as a Research Engineer at GE Global Research.

In 2011, Liang Song moved to the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Liang served as an Associate Professor and Director of the Medical Photoacoustic Imaging Lab from February 2011 to December 2014. From April 2012 to March 2016, they also held the position of Founding Director of the Research Lab for Biomedical Optics & Shenzhen Key Lab for Molecular Imaging. Additionally, they were a Professor from December 2014 to March 2016.

In 2016, Liang Song co-founded Insight Lifetech Co., Ltd. and assumed the role of Chairman and CEO. As of the provided information, they are still in this role.

Liang Song has a strong educational background, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Science & Technology from Wuhan University, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Liang then went on to pursue a Master of Philosophy degree in Physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2003 to 2006. Building upon their previous degrees, they achieved a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating between the years 2006 and 2010.
