David Samson

David Samson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various industries, including medical systems, gaming, and e-commerce. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Insight Medical Systems since September 2017, David specializes in developing an Android-based tracking system for AR-assisted surgery. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Toys For Bob, where work focused on the Spyro the Dragon Reignited Trilogy, and Contract Senior Software Engineer at Quanergy, developing a Unity3D Android app for 3D data visualization. With a comprehensive background as CTO at Allisons Gourmet LLC and Mine Shaft Entertainment, David has led technical initiatives and software development projects for e-commerce and gaming sectors. David holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University and the University of Florida, respectively.
