Michael Minneman

Michael Minneman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael currently serves as a Member of the Governance Board at Sensing PIC CHIPs Consortium since October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Insight Lidar since September 2016. Prior to that, they served as Chief Executive Officer at Insight Photonic Solutions starting from May 2007.

In addition, Minneman has held various advisory and board positions. Michael was a Member of the Business Advisory Board at Back Office Connection, Inc. from January 2006 to January 2023. Michael also served as CEO & President, and later as an Advisor, at dBm Optics from October 1999 to the present. Furthermore, they were a Member of the Expert Advisory Board at Key Sensor Photonics from 2011 to 2015.

Minneman's board roles include being a Member of the Board of Directors at Universal Transportable Memory Association from January 2003 to June 2008 and at Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. from 1993 to 2001.

Michael has also held executive positions earlier in their career, including serving as Vice President & Division Manager at MKS Instruments from September 1997 to October 1999. Prior to that, they held various managerial roles at Keithley Instruments, including Business Group Manager, Director of Corporate Planning, Marketing Manager, and Regional Sales Manager from 1989 to 1998.

Michael Minneman received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington between 1977 and 1981. Michael continued their education at the same institution and obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance from 1982 to 1985. In 1990, Michael briefly attended the Harvard Business School to study Strategic Marketing Management.
