Reuben Lowe has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and companies. Reuben started their career in 2004 as a Clinical Practitioner at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, where they provided comprehensive assessments and referrals for adults with substance misuse problems and complex needs. In 2010, Reuben transitioned to working for Healthscope as a Contextual CBT/ACT Therapist, delivering therapy in group and one-on-one settings and designing and implementing therapy programs. During their time at Healthscope, they also served as the ACT Programs Coordinator. In 2014, Reuben founded and became the President of ACT on it: Mindfulness for Teens Inc., a registered health promotion charity that developed a smartphone app based on Acceptance Commitment Therapy. Reuben continued to serve as the President until at least 2021. In 2016, Reuben worked as a Group Facilitator for Asian Leadership Institute Consultancy, where they coached leaders in mindfulness and personal development. Starting in 2017, Reuben became a Published Teacher on Insight Timer, a popular meditation app, and in 2021, they also became a Narrator and Content Creator for the Petit BamBou app and a Published Teacher at Aura, a digital wellness ecosystem. Reuben is the Founder of Mindful Creation, an online organization with a mission to empower 1 million people to make a change on the inside.

Reuben Lowe began their education in 1996 at Solent University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science. Reuben completed their studies in 1999. Later, in 2001, Reuben enrolled at the University of Southampton to earn an Advanced Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing, which they completed in 2003. Continuing their educational journey, they attended the University of Southampton again in 2009 and successfully obtained a Post Graduate degree in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
