David Flynn

David Flynn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and operational governance within the financial services industry. Currently serving as the General Manager of Operational Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Change at Insignia Financial, David has played a pivotal role in implementing comprehensive frameworks across the organization. Additionally, David leads the Pride Stream as part of Insignia's Diversity & Inclusion agenda, promoting an inclusive environment for LGBTIQA+ individuals. Previous positions include Interim Chief Risk Officer, General Manager Advice Standards & Governance at Insignia Financial, and leadership roles at BT Financial Group, Jet Financial, Rubik Group, and ANZ, among others. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from University College Dublin, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, and has additional qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Project Management.
