Jakob Kirch

Jakob Kirch has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and data science. Jakob started their career as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart in 2013 and worked there until 2017. Following that, they joined Insilico Biotechnology AG as a Working Student from April 2017 to December 2017. In 2018, Jakob joined Yokogawa Insilico Biotechnology GmbH as a Data Scientist, and later became the Head of Modeling and Simulation in July 2020. Jakob is currently in this role, utilizing their expertise in data science and biotechnology.

Jakob Kirch pursued their education in the field of Simulation Technology, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Stuttgart. Jakob attended this university from 2011 to 2015. Seeking further knowledge, Jakob then pursued a Master of Science degree in Simulation Technology from the same institution, which was completed from 2015 to 2018. During their undergraduate studies, they had the opportunity to broaden their horizons by studying abroad for a semester at Universitat de Barcelona in 2016. The specific degree earned during this semester abroad is unknown.
