Prashant Pokhriyal

Prashant Pokhriyal has recently started working as a Data Scientist at Yokogawa Insilico Biotechnology GmbH since January 2022. Prior to this, they had been working at Intas Pharmaceuticals since August 2018. At Intas Pharmaceuticals, Prashant held various roles such as Associate Scientist (Process Science), Research Associate (Process Science), and Research Associate (Downstream Process Development) from August 2018 to December 2020. In these roles, they were involved in developing scale-down models for chromatographic processes using statistics and machine learning, as well as working on purification techniques for antibodies and collaborating with the Downstream Processing team. Additionally, they worked as a Research Associate (Upstream Process Development) where they played a part in the successful launch of Trastuzumab and Romiplostim. Their responsibilities included executing basic Cell Culture techniques and managing multiple biological molecules by providing timely delivery of regulatory compliant analytical data.

Prashant Pokhriyal completed their education in a chronological order. Prashant started by attending Little Scholars in Kashipur (Uttrakhand) from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their High School degree with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

Prashant then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering from Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute Of Technology from 2012 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, Prashant went on to obtain a Master's degree in Bioprocess Technology from the Institute Of Chemical Technology, studying from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Prashant also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed the "6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" course from edX. In 2020, they pursued certifications in "Digital Transformation" from Coursera and "Foundations of Business Strategy" from Coursera. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in "Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving" from SAS. Furthermore, Prashant completed the "INFS Nutrition and Fitness Expert Course" and "INFS Nutrition and Fitness Foundation course" from INFS in 2021 and 2021 respectively.
