Kiyoshi Nobori

Senior Director, Head Of Clinical Development - Japan at Insmed

Kiyoshi Nobori has extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field. Kiyoshi is currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Clinical Development - Japan at Insmed Incorporated since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd. where they held various roles including Head of TA Cardio-Pulmonology/Women’s/Hematology, Clinical Leader, and Medical Expert. Kiyoshi also served as an Associate Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University and was responsible for clinical research in the field of cardiology. Additionally, they worked as a Principal Clinical Reviewer at PMDA (Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Agency) and as an Assistant Professor at Akita University. Kiyoshi Nobori has a strong background in molecular biology and has conducted research in areas such as autophagy and heart regenerative therapies. Kiyoshi has published several research papers throughout their career.

Kiyoshi Nobori received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Shinsyu University from 1991 to 1997. Kiyoshi then pursued their education further and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cardiology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, from the year 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Kiyoshi Nobori has obtained various certifications, including being a Board Certified Clinical Pharmacologist from the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, obtaining this certification in January 2017. Kiyoshi is also a Board Certified Member of the Japanese Circulation Society, achieving this certification in April 2007. Furthermore, they obtained the title of Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine (FJSIM) in September 2003. Lastly, Kiyoshi Nobori received their medical license from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Japan in May 1997.
