David Ziegler

David Ziegler is currently working as the COO and Head of Industrialisation at Insolight since January 2020. David is also serving as a Technical Advisor at CREAL since January 2021. Previously, David was an Engineering Manager at Magic Leap, leading a team to develop new optical architectures for head-worn displays. With a background in Microengineering and Applied Optics, David has a strong foundation in optical design and manufacturing, demonstrated through their work at Intel, Composyt Light Labs, EPFL-TOPO, and LX Precision. David is skilled in developing diffractive/holographic optical elements and has a proven track record of successfully executing projects in the optics hardware engineering field.
