Shannon Wright

Shannon Wright has a diverse work experience in compliance and contract management roles. Starting in 2010, they were a law student at the University of Denver. In 2013, they worked as a Law Clerk at Robinson & Henry, P.C. They then transitioned to a role as a Compliance Specialist at Clayton in 2014, where they analyzed loans for compliance with regulations. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Legislative Performance Auditor at the State of Colorado Office of the State Auditor, conducting audits and providing recommendations. In 2015, they joined KIPP LA Schools as a Public Grants Coordinator, focusing on federal and state compliance in education funding. They were later promoted to Public Programs Associate and then Public Programs Manager, taking on additional responsibilities in project management and compliance coaching. In 2018, they moved to the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) as the Senior Director and then Director of Contracts and Compliance, overseeing contract development and management as well as ensuring compliance with government regulations. Most recently, they joined Inspire as the Director of Compliance in 2022.

Shannon Wright earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they attended the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Recently, in November 2021, they obtained Bar Admission in California from the State Bar of California.
