Erik Davidson is a DBA, CFA, and CTFA with extensive experience in the finance industry. In 2020, they began working as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Finance at Baylor University. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Economic Advisor at Inspire Investing from 2019, and also worked as an Instructor and Curriculum Consultant - Behavioral Finance and Wealth & Investment Management at the American Bankers Association in the same year. From 2004 to their retirement in 2019, they were the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Before that, they were Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Separate Account Solutions from 2000, and Director - Portfolio Management - Templeton Portfolio Advisory Group at Franklin Templeton from 1997. Theircareer began in 1986 as a Trader at Dimensional Fund Advisors, and they were also Director - MBS/ABS Trading at FIRST BOSTON from 1987.

Erik Davidson holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) Degree from DePaul University, where they studied Behavioral Finance. Erik also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where they studied Finance and Investments. Additionally, Erik holds an International Division (Kokusaibu) from Waseda University, where they studied Economics and Japanese Language. Erik also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree from St. Olaf College, where they studied Economics. Erik's education began at Salinas High School. Erik also holds certifications as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) from the American Bankers Association, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, and is a Member of American Mensa.
