Mitch Finne P.e.

Mitch Finne, P.E. has over 28 years of work experience in the engineering industry. Mitch is currently serving as the Director of Product Risk Management at Inspire Medical Systems since August 2022. Prior to this, Mitch worked at Medtronic for a significant period, holding various roles such as Sr. Manager of Product Quality and Technical Service from July 2019 to August 2022, Engineering Manager from June 2016 to June 2019, Principal Reliability Engineer from August 2015 to May 2016, and Engineering Program Manager from 2010 to July 2015. At Medtronic, they were also a Cross-functional development team member and Principal Reliability Engineer from 2003 to 2010. Before that, they worked as a Materials Engineer at Materials Evaluation and Engineering, Inc. from 2000 to 2003 and as an R&D Engineer at Novel Biomedical (formerly known as Colorado MedTech) from 1998 to 2000. Mitch started their career as an R&D Engineer at Vasamed (formerly known as Optical Sensors Inc.) from 1994 to 1998, conducting experiments and developing testing plans for engineering systems.

Mitch Finne, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Minnesota. In addition, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of MN in January 2001. Furthermore, Mitch Finne obtained a DFSS Black Belt certification in October 2014.
