Anita Sainsbury

Anita Sainsbury has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Anita most recently worked as Director of Risk at Inspired PLC. Prior to that, they were the Energy Procurement Director at Utility Aid. Anita has also held various management positions in energy pricing, markets, and trading, including Head of Energy Pricing, Markets & Trading at Inteb and Head of Energy Markets, Pricing and Risk at Utility Team. Anita also has experience as Head of Energy Markets at both Catalyst Commercial Services Ltd and Energy Cost Advisors Ltd. Before entering the energy industry, Anita worked as an Energy Risk and Procurement Manager at The Monarch Partnership and as an Energy Procurement specialist at Concept Energy Solutions Ltd. Anita took a break from their career to focus on being a full-time mum from 2010 to 2012 and held an interim role as an Energy Manager at Orchid Group during that time.

Anita Sainsbury attended Hall Green from 1983 to 1988, Wulfrun College of FE from 1988 to 1990, and University of Northumbria from 1990 to 1993.
