In 2020, Liz coordinated her first INSPIRELLE event on a boat on the Seine in the midst of a downpour and a transit strike. In spite of all this, she packed the room. After that, other events seemed so much easier!
Liz has been in Paris for five years, and has worked as a strategic communications consultant for UNESCO and for an international science communications group, and as a freelancer for a genetics testing company.
Before coming to Paris, she worked for 20 years as scientific writer/editor and as communications director at the Advanced Light Source at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California. Originally from Canada, Liz has lived in Japan, California, and France, loves traveling, cooking and eating food from everywhere. In her spare time she loves to bike, run, paddle board, and write bad poetry.
