Shayna Willis

Shayna Willis has held a variety of roles in the education sector since 2003. Shayna began their career as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools in 2003. In 2012, they took on an Educational Consultant role for Neighborhood Learning Alliance. In 2013, they became an Adjunct Mathematics Professor and Academic Advisor for Community College of Allegheny County. In 2015, they were an Educational Consultant for Institute for Learning. In 2019, they were a Competitive Mathematics Instructor for Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY). In 2020, they became a Mathematics Teacher for Agora Cyber Charter School. In 2021, they were appointed as the Math Department Chair for REACH CYBER CHARTER SCHOOL. Shayna is currently a Math Content Lead for Inspirit.

Shayna Willis attended George Mason University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Liberal Studies for Education and Mathematics. In 2008, they obtained a Mathematics 7-12 certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. In 2014, they obtained a Professional Development Instructor certification from PQAS-The Pennsylvania Key and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL).
