Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz is an Information Security Analyst at Las Vegas Valley Water District since February 2022, specializing in information security and compliance. With a diverse background, Jose has been involved in cinematography and directing for Inspirmedia Productions since July 2013, notably serving as a videographer/photo-journalist in the North Kivu Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Previously, Jose worked as a Cybersecurity and AP/Honors Computer Science Instructor at Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School from September 1999 to February 2022, where home labs were created for training purposes. Jose also served as a Homeless Youth Street Outreach Worker and House Parent at the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth from July 2006 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Concordia University Chicago.
