Naftali Bechar

SVP, Clinical Development at Inspirna

Naftali Bechar is the SVP of Clinical Development at Inspirna. Naftali has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to joining Inspirna, they were with Rgenix, Inc. as their Vice President of Preclinical Development. In this role, they were responsible for the translational science needed to support IND submissions. Naftali also served as a consultant for Rgenix, Inc., where they worked on Business Development and Early Development Strategy for in-licensed investigational drugs.

Bechar has also consulted for Easton Associates and Navigant. At NYU School of Medicine, they were a postdoctoral fellow. Naftali received their PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tel Aviv University.

Naftali Bechar earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Biochemistry from St. Xavier's College, a Cancer Genetics from National Center for Biological Sciences/TIFR, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Naftali is currently a Doctor of Philosophy candidate in Molecular & Cell Biology at University of California, Berkeley.

They are on a team with Isabel Kurth - VP, Research, Narayan Lebaka - Senior Director of Data Management, and David Darst - COO. Naftali Bechar reports to Masoud Tavazoie, CEO.
