Alla Mezhvinsky

Alla Mezhvinsky is the current Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Instacart. Prior to this, they were the VP of People & Operations at ClassPass from January 2018 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for all HR, Recruiting, L&D, Facilities, and Employee Experience functions. Alla also established strategic goals to ensure efficient process scaling and growth including but not limited to new hire onboarding, reporting capabilities, interview process, performance management, and employee engagement.

Before ClassPass, Alla was the VP of People at Doppler Labs from April 2016 to January 2018. In this role, they led all aspects of People Operations (HR, Recruiting, Facilities, L&D, Culture, Events). Prior to Doppler Labs, they were the Business Recruiting Lead at Square from March 2013 to April 2016. In this role, they managed a team of 6-8 direct reports that focused on recruiting efforts for the entire Business organization (Marketing, Sales, Support, International, Biz Dev, Analytics, Admin, Finance, Comms). Alla also drove full cycle recruiting efforts for all Counsel roles, People Team and select Executive hires. In addition, they led process improvement efforts across the Talent Team and partnered with HR and Finance to ensure efficiency in the candidate-to-new hire process. Lastly, they built and managed strategy and resource allocation for hiring needs across the Business org.

Alla Mezhvinsky has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management (Hospitality) from the University of San Francisco and Executive Education: People, Culture, and Performance from Stanford University. Alla also attended Lowell High School in San Francisco.

Their manager is Christina Hall, Chief Human Resources Officer. They are on a team with Jennifer Sutton - Head of Diversity, Equity, & Belonging, Lydia Kung - Senior Director, HR Business Partner, and Michelle Suwannukul - Head of HR.
