Jonathan Louis Gu

Jonathan Louis Gu is an accomplished economist and machine learning engineer with extensive experience in both academia and industry. At Instacart, Jonathan holds the position of Senior Economist and Machine Learning Engineer II, having progressed through various roles including Senior Economist and Machine Learning Engineer, as well as Economist and Machine Learning Engineer. Prior to this, Jonathan completed a PhD in Economics at UCLA from 2014 to 2020 and served as a Research Analyst at Microsoft. Jonathan's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2007 and 2011.
