Joseph Swager

Joseph Swager is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in security engineering, cloud architecture, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Security Engineer at Marqeta, Inc., Joseph leads the Detection and Response team and spearheads the development of a custom SIEM system. Previously, as Principal Cloud Architect at Car IQ and ChargePoint, Joseph managed development teams and designed cloud services, significantly improving deployment processes and enhancing security posture. Joseph has a strong foundation in enterprise API development, technical leadership, and cloud migration, with a career spanning various roles at multiple organizations. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development from Champlain College and an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Washtenaw Community College.
