Monik Trujillo Hincapie

Monik Trujillo Hincapie has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Monik started their career as a practicante universitaria at Flores Silvestres in 2017, where they conducted various analyses and tests related to pest and disease management. Monik then worked as a Jefe de Fitosanidad at CULTIVOS SAYONARA SAS in 2018, where they were responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and providing solutions for pest and disease issues on the farm. Additionally, they managed pesticide applications, monitored pests and diseases, and handled documentation for flower exports.

From 2018 to 2022, Monik worked as an Extensionista at Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia, where they specialized in providing agricultural extension services to coffee farmers. Finally, in 2022, they joined Instacrops Inc. as a Key Account-Manager. Overall, Monik Trujillo Hincapie has gained valuable experience in pest and disease management, agricultural extension, and key account management.

Monik Trujillo Hincapie completed their undergraduate education at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 2018. Monik then pursued further studies at the same university, enrolling in the Magister en Bosques y Conservación Ambiental program, specializing in Ecology. This program spanned from 2023 to 2024.
