Sebastien Boyer

Sebastien Boyer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Sebastien is currently working as a Research Engineer at InstaDeep Ltd since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Scientific Data Analyst at the University of Basel from February 2020 to June 2022.

Sebastien also has experience at Université de Montréal, where they worked as a Student Supervisor from April 2019 to February 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from March 2018 to February 2020. Sebastien was a Python mentor at the McGill Physics and AI workshop in May 2019.

Furthermore, Sebastien worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from January 2016 to March 2018 and as a Center for Computational, Evolutionary, and Human Genomics fellow at CEHG Stanford from August 2016 to August 2017.

In addition, they served as a PHD Student at the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Physics from September 2012 to September 2015. Sebastien also gained industry experience as an Intern at HKUST division of life science in May 2011 and as an Intern at Louis Neel Institute from June 2010 to August 2010.

Sebastien Boyer's education history is as follows:

From 2008 to 2015, Sebastien attended the Université Grenoble Alpes, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Physics, with a focus on Physics for Life Sciences.

From 2009 to 2012, Sebastien also studied at the Université Grenoble Alpes, completing a Magistere de Physique degree in Physics.

In 2010 to 2011, Sebastien participated in an exchange program and studied at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, earning a Master's degree in Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastien also completed several certifications. In 2019, they achieved the following certifications from Coursera: Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, Applied Machine Learning in Python, and Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Data Analysis with Python, Introduction to Big Data, Big Data Modeling and Management Systems, Big Data Integration and Processing, Machine Learning With Big Data, and Graph Analytics for Big Data. In 2021, Sebastien completed a certification in Introduction to Cloud Computing, and in 2022, they earned a certification in Introduction to Web Development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Throughout their education and certifications, Sebastien has developed a strong background in physics and further expanded their knowledge of relevant fields such as data analysis and machine learning.
