Ayaka Oishi has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as an intern at the Japan Center for Conflict Prevention. Ayaka then interned at Link Japan Careers Inc. before becoming a Fulbright Scholar at the Fulbright Association in 2018. In 2019, Ayaka worked as a Fellow at PeaceTech Lab and as a Political Analyst/Project Manager at Peloria. Ayaka joined IBM in 2013 as an Organization Change Consultant and stayed there until 2020. Currently, Ayaka is a Business Development Manager at Instalimb, starting in 2021.

Ayaka Oishi began their education in 2009 at Aoyama Gakuin University, where they studied International Politics for four years and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. In 2010 and 2011, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Montana, focusing on International Politics. After gaining work experience, Ayaka pursued further education and attended Georgetown University from 2018 to 2020. At Georgetown, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution. In 2019, they also undertook a part-time program in Data Science at General Assembly.
