Rachel Smoller

Manager, Account Management at Instawork

Rachel Smoller has a diverse work experience across various industries. Rachel is currently working at Instawork as a Manager in Account Management since July 2022. Prior to that, they were an Enterprise Account Manager at the same company from November 2020 to July 2022. Before joining Instawork, they worked at Marriott International as a Room Operations Voyager from June 2019 to November 2020, where they were responsible for managing front desk and housekeeping at a large hotel. Rachel also gained experience at Troon as a Supervisory Intern at Bayside Resort Golf Club from May 2018 to August 2018, where they supervised onsite restaurants and assisted the events manager. Rachel worked as a Banquet Server at Mount Snow from June 2017 to August 2017, and as a Restaurant Intern at The Gardens at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center from August 2016 to April 2017, where they performed various roles including hostess, server, and bartender. Rachel also worked as a Front Desk Attendant at Holiday Inn Express for a brief period from May 2016 to August 2016. Rachel'searliest work experience was as a Bakery Counter Clerk at The Pastry Garden from July 2013 to June 2015, where they handled customer service, cake and pastry orders, and various other tasks.

Rachel Smoller completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Hospitality Management at Penn State University from 2015 to 2019. In 2018, they also attended Florence University of the Arts, studying Hospitality Administration/Management. Additionally, Rachel obtained various certifications, including the Account Manager/Customer Success Certification from Sales Assembly in May 2021, the eCornell Voyage Leadership Certificate Program from Cornell University in March 2020, the Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from the AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in December 2018, the Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in April 2017, the ServSafe Certificate from ServSafe Certified in October 2016, and the RAMP Certification from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in January 2019.
