Jon M. Ruth

Jon Ruth is the current Director at Insteel Industries. Jon has been with the company since 2003, and in their current role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's operations. Prior to joining Insteel Industries, Ruth was the President of North Star Steel from June 2003 to December 2004. Jon also spent 35 years with Cargill Inc, where they rose to the position of Executive before retiring in 2015. During their time with Cargill, Ruth was a member of the Board of Directors for the Steel Manufacturers Association (SMA), Metals Service Center Institute, American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), and Scrap recycling Institute. Jon is also a past member of the Board of Directors for Summit Academy OIC. Jon Ruth has a long history in the steel industry, and their experience has been invaluable to Insteel Industries.

Jon M. Ruth received their undergraduate degree from St. Johns University and then went on to get their Executive Management Program degree from the University of Michigan.
