John L.

John L. has a diverse range of work experience. John is currently serving as the Executive VP of Clinical Trial Analytics at Instem, where they lead a global division focused on delivering industry-leading products and services for clinical trial analysis. Prior to this role, John worked as the VP of Client Management at Instem.

Before joining Instem, John served as the Chief Executive Officer of d-wise, a global technology consulting and software solutions organization specializing in data and information systems for life sciences. John also held the role of Chief Operating Officer at d-wise, where they founded the software consulting company.

In addition to their corporate roles, John worked as an Independent Consultant before starting their own business. John also has experience in the field of software development, having worked as a Senior Applications Developer and Software Developer at SAS.

John's earliest work experience was as a High School Physics Teacher at Edgecombe County Public Schools. Overall, John has a strong background in leadership, technology consulting, and software development, with a particular focus on clinical trials and data systems in the life sciences industry.

John L. completed their high school education at Enloe High School from 1984 to 1988, earning a High School Diploma with Honors. John then attended North Carolina State University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Science Education. Additionally, John has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Cert Prep: 1 Cloud Concepts from LinkedIn in July 2023, Bell Leadership - Achievers Graduate from Bell Leadership Institute in February 2017, and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS in May 2007.
