Margarita Kavazi

Margarita Kavazi has extensive work experience in the field of auditing and financial reporting. Margarita started their career as a Summer Intern at PwC Cyprus in 2013. Margarita then worked as an External Auditor in their Financial Services Department, handling high-profile clients in the forex industry and banking & capital markets. Margarita also prepared and reviewed consolidated financial statements for complex multinational companies. Margarita joined Euro Car Parts Ltd. in 2018 as a Corporate Internal Auditor, where they led and conducted audits across various European countries to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and US GAAP. Margarita was also involved in designing the Internal Control Framework for a newly acquired entity. In 2020, Margarita worked at Lookers plc as an Interim Internal Audit Manager, leading a team of auditors and developing a robust approach for the entire group. Currently, they are the Head of Group Reporting at Instem, where they oversee financial reporting and holds a senior reporting management position.

Margarita Kavazi started their education in 2011 at the University of Leeds, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance. Margarita completed their studies at the university in 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2017, Margarita joined the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) for further education; however, the specific degree and field of study during this period are not mentioned. Margarita obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) certification from ICAEW in December 2014. Subsequently, in January 2020, they obtained the Business and Finance Professional certification from ICAEW.
