Martin Hilbers

Martin Hilbers is a Senior Software Engineer and Bioinformatician with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at Instem since March 2011. Prior to this role, Martin worked at BioWisdom Ltd and Lion Bioscience, where responsibilities included providing, supporting, and customizing data warehouses for biological and biomedical research. Earlier positions include serving as a Higher Scientific Officer at Daresbury Laboratory, offering bioinformatics services to the UK academic community, and as a PhD Fellow at the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata', focusing on research in plant molecular biology. Martin holds a Dr in Bio-Organic Chemistry from Utrecht University and an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology.
